1. About Dreamote

Dreamote is a personal dream journal designed to help users record, organize, explore, and reflect on their dreams.

Depending on the application version and subscription plan, the Service may provide:

• Manual recording and editing of dream entries.
• Organization of dreams using titles, tags, emotions, and other attributes.
• Search, history, and dream statistics.
• Voice recording and AI-powered transcription.
• AI-assisted extraction of information from dream descriptions.
• AI-generated reflections on dream content.
• Additional journaling and self-reflection features.

Feature availability may vary depending on your device, application version, subscription status, and technical conditions.

Dreamote is intended for personal journaling, creativity, and self-reflection. The Service does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, or other professional healthcare services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Dreamote.

By creating an account, you confirm—through the mandatory age confirmation presented at registration, which is not pre-selected—that you are at least 16 years old and are legally permitted to use the Service.

Where applicable law requires additional parental or guardian consent, you must obtain that consent before using the Service.

We may restrict or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of Dreamote require account registration.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Avoid sharing your account with unauthorized persons.
• Notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

Your Dreamote account is separate from the Apple Account or Google account used to purchase subscriptions.

Your account may be used to identify your subscription entitlements and synchronize subscription access across supported devices.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. Dream Entries and User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create or submit to Dreamote, including dream descriptions, notes, recordings, and other personal information ("User Content").

Dreamote does not claim ownership of your personal dream entries.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, transmit, and technically modify User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate the Service and provide the features you request.

This may include processing content using authorized third-party service providers when you use AI-powered functionality.

This license ends when the relevant content is deleted, except to the extent that temporary processing, technical deletion procedures, or legal retention obligations require otherwise.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

Dream entries may refer to other people. Please respect their privacy, especially when exporting, sharing, or submitting information about identifiable individuals to external services. Do not submit information that you are not legally permitted to disclose.

5. Local Storage and Data Availability

Dreamote uses local storage on your device for dream journal functionality.

Some features, particularly authentication, subscriptions, and AI processing, may involve communication with external services.

The storage and processing of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge that locally stored information may be affected by device damage, loss, application removal, operating system changes, loss of device-bound encryption keys, or other technical circumstances.

Local journal data on the device is protected using a local encryption key (LEK) that is bound to the device. If that key becomes unavailable — for example after clearing application data, reinstalling the application without a usable recovery path, or losing or resetting the device — locally stored dream entries on that device may become permanently unreadable.

Unless a backup or synchronization feature is expressly provided and successfully usable for your situation, Dreamote does not guarantee that locally stored journal entries can be recovered after device loss, data removal, or key loss. Cloud Sync, where available, is optional and is not represented as an end-to-end verified new-device recovery guarantee for this release.

Where Dreamote provides journal export, exports of dream content are provided as readable plaintext (such as JSON). Encryption keys are not exported. We recommend exporting important content and storing those files securely. Ordinary import and export are not a complete account backup and do not replace subscription restoration or Cloud Sync.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.

6. AI-Powered Features

Dreamote may provide optional AI-powered features, including voice transcription, automatic extraction of dream information, and dream reflections.

These features use automated systems that may produce inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, unexpected, or emotionally upsetting results. AI-generated descriptions and reflections should not be treated as factual conclusions about you or other people.

In particular:

• Speech transcription may contain recognition errors.
• Automatically extracted titles, tags, or emotions may not accurately represent your dream.
• Dream reflections are subjective, AI-generated observations rather than verified explanations.
• AI-generated content does not constitute professional medical or psychological advice.
• AI-generated reflections must not be regarded as diagnoses, predictions, or factual interpretations of subconscious processes.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it.

You may edit or remove generated content using the functionality available in the Service.

Use of AI features may involve transmitting the relevant content to third-party AI service providers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI functionality may require an internet connection and may be temporarily unavailable due to external provider limitations.

7. Free and Premium Plans

Dreamote provides free functionality and may offer paid subscription plans ("Premium").

The Free plan includes the core journaling functionality made available in the application.

Premium may provide access to additional features, including AI-assisted transcription, automatic dream information extraction, AI reflections, and other functionality identified in the subscription offering.

The features included in a particular plan will be displayed before purchase.

We may introduce, improve, replace, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and our obligations to existing subscribers.

7.1 Premium AI Usage Limits

Premium AI features may have usage limits, including limits on the number of requests or other measurable usage allowances.

The applicable limits will be disclosed before subscription purchase.

Usage limits applicable to a paid subscription period will remain unchanged for that period.

We will not reduce the promised AI usage allowances during an ongoing paid period.

Usage limits may be changed for subsequent billing periods, subject to applicable notification requirements and consumer protection laws.

Unused AI allowances do not carry over to the next billing period unless explicitly stated in the subscription offering.

Requests exceeding the applicable usage limits may be restricted until the relevant allowance becomes available again.

7.2 Access to Previously Generated AI Content

Expiration or cancellation of Premium does not automatically remove previously generated AI content.

Previously generated titles, tags, emotions, reflections, and other AI-assisted information remain available for viewing and editing through the corresponding journal features.

After Premium access ends, new Premium-only AI processing may become unavailable until an eligible subscription is activated.

Your ability to view and edit existing journal content is not dependent on maintaining Premium.

Content remains subject to ordinary data deletion, device storage, and account termination rules.

8. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals

Premium subscriptions purchased within the mobile application are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Payments, renewals, and billing administration are handled by the relevant platform.

Before purchase, you will be informed of the applicable subscription price, billing period, included features, and usage limits.

Unless otherwise indicated, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled.

The renewal price and applicable conditions are governed by the purchase information presented by the relevant platform and applicable law.

8.1 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel automatic renewal through the platform used for purchase:

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

Uninstalling Dreamote does not cancel your subscription.

Deleting your Dreamote account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google.

Cancellation normally prevents future renewal, while Premium access continues until the end of the paid period, subject to refunds, billing issues, platform decisions, and applicable law.

8.2 Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are administered according to the relevant platform's processes and applicable consumer protection legislation.

Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory refund or cancellation rights.

9. Subscription Accounts and Purchase Restoration

Subscription payments are associated with the Apple Account or Google account used for purchase.

Access to Premium within Dreamote is associated with the applicable Dreamote user account through our subscription management system.

Dreamote may use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and manage subscription entitlements.

Users who sign in to the same Dreamote account on supported devices may access their existing Premium entitlement, subject to subscription validity and technical compatibility.

9.1 Restore Purchases

Dreamote may provide a Restore Purchases function for recovering an eligible previously purchased subscription.

Restoration generally requires access to the corresponding Apple Account or Google account and successful verification of the purchase.

A restored subscription may be associated with the Dreamote account currently being used, according to the Service's purchase restoration rules.

Restoring a purchase restores an eligible subscription entitlement only. It does not restore dream journal contents, encryption keys, JSON exports, or other personal journal data.

Subscription entitlements cannot be used simultaneously by multiple unrelated Dreamote accounts unless explicitly permitted by the Service.

If you experience problems restoring a valid purchase, please contact our support team.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Dreamote for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without permission.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
• Reverse engineer or exploit the Service except where permitted by law.
• Circumvent subscription verification, AI quotas, or technical restrictions.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other mechanisms to generate excessive requests.
• Attempt to compromise external service providers or infrastructure connected to Dreamote.

We may restrict access to protect the security and integrity of the Service.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of restrictions that materially affect your account.

11. Data Privacy

The collection, storage, transmission, use, and deletion of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy:

By using particular features, you may choose to submit personal information for processing.

Certain processing activities may involve third-party providers responsible for authentication, AI processing, subscription administration, or other essential services.

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand which information is processed and where.

11.1 Future Aggregated Dream Statistics

Dreamote may introduce optional global statistics based on structured associations between dream entries and predefined shared categories, such as emotions, places, characters, and sleep-related factors. This feature is not represented as currently active.

Dream titles, narrative descriptions, personal notes, voice recordings, transcriptions, and user-created free-text labels will not be used to produce global statistics under this planned feature.

Before processing personal information for this purpose, we will establish an appropriate legal basis and obtain any consent required by applicable law. Declining consent-based statistical processing will not prevent use of the core journal.

Only aggregated statistics subject to safeguards against identification will be made public. Where results are genuinely anonymous, they may remain available after deletion of an individual account. Further information is provided in the Privacy Policy.

12. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Dreamote account:

• Through the account deletion functionality within the application.
• Through https://dreamote.me/delete-account.

Account deletion may permanently remove account-related information and content associated with that account, subject to the data storage architecture and retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting a Dreamote account does not automatically cancel an existing Apple or Google subscription. Local journal data on a previously signed-in device may remain until the application detects the deletion and completes its local cleanup.

When the application detects an account deleted through the website, it uses its local cleanup and recovery procedures. If a device remains offline or automated cleanup cannot be completed, you may need to clear application storage manually. Separately cancel any active store-managed subscription if you no longer wish to be billed.

Deletion may be irreversible. Previously deleted journal content may not be recoverable through purchase restoration.

Certain information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate purposes permitted by applicable privacy legislation.

13. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to maintain a reliable and accessible Service.

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

The Service may be affected by:

• Internet connectivity problems.
• Device or operating system limitations.
• Maintenance or application updates.
• Third-party service interruptions.
• Security incidents or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may modify or discontinue features for legitimate technical, security, legal, or business reasons.

Material reductions to paid functionality will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any applicable platform obligations.

If Dreamote is permanently discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and information about preserving available data, where feasible.

14. Intellectual Property

Dreamote, including its application software, branding, visual design, interface elements, and other proprietary materials, belongs to us or our licensors.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and applicable platform rules.

This license does not transfer ownership of Dreamote or its underlying technology.

Ownership of your User Content remains with you.

15. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dreamote is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous or error-free Service availability.
• Perfect accuracy of speech recognition.
• Accuracy or completeness of AI-generated information.
• Particular emotional, psychological, or health-related outcomes.
• Recovery of device-local journal data after device loss, application removal, or loss of device-bound encryption keys, or where no usable backup, export, or synchronization path is available.

Dreamote is not a substitute for professional medical or mental healthcare.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory statutory warranties or consumer protections.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the Service.

We are not responsible for decisions made solely in reliance on AI-generated content.

Our liability is not excluded or limited where such limitation would violate applicable law.

In particular, these Terms do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

17. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Dreamote at any time.

We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to address serious violations of these Terms, security threats, fraudulent conduct, or unlawful activity.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the problem.

The consequences of termination for existing subscriptions and personal data remain subject to applicable law and the relevant provisions of these Terms.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in functionality, legal obligations, security requirements, or business operations.

Updated Terms will be published at:

The date of the latest revision will be shown at the beginning of the document.

Where material changes affect users' rights or obligations, we will provide appropriate notice as required by law.

Changes will not retroactively reduce rights acquired under applicable law.

If you disagree with updated Terms, you may stop using the Service and request account deletion.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.

Nothing in these Terms restricts any mandatory rights or legal remedies available to you under applicable law.

21. Additional Terms for Apple Users

For Dreamote applications distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licensed application unless an applicable custom license agreement is provided.

These Terms additionally govern the Dreamote account and associated services to the extent permitted by the applicable license and law.

Apple is not responsible for the operation, maintenance, or support of Dreamote.
